"They're coming to get you Barbara.... LOOK! here come one now!" If you dont know where that's from, you need to get the f^#k outa dodge... Of course you all know im talking about George A. Romero's cult classic NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. Calling this movie a masterpiece is putting it lightly. This is the movie that crossed the line in its day, it created zombies and without it, we would not have any 28 days later, or resident evil, or any other zombie movie or game to ever have come out.

Such a simple, yet brilliant concept. The dead return to life and attack the living. Once getting bitten, its only a matter of time till you become one of them. It is no doubt one of the most influential horror movies of all time, and set a new standard for horror movies.

The movie begins with Barbara going to visit the cemetary with her brother. Upon arriving, they are attacked, and her brother is nocked unconcious and Barbara is sent running in fear for her life. She arrives at nearby house and boards herself up. Shortly thereafter, a man drives up in his car, low on gas and gets in the house and begins to take control of the situation and more and more characters are introduced.

SPOILER WARNING

Eventually, the house is over run with zombies and the S&!t hits the fan when the guy is the only one left, he survives through the night and upon peering out the window in the morning, he is mistaken for a zombie and shot and killed. This ending leaves you with your mouth dropped to the floor.

SPOILER ENDING

All in all, if you haven't seen this movie by now, you shouldnt even be on this site. If you havnt seen it, and you are still here, turn off the computer, and dont turn it back on until you have. It is a classic and a must have for any serious horror movie fan. It is George Romero at his best and it doesnt get much better than this. Many movies try to do the same, but fail miserably. Dont even get me started on Night Of The Living Dead 3-D...
