Day of the Dead Review

Something was missing... Im not too sure what, or how, but this film just felt lacking something to me. It follows some people working for the government trying to figure what to do about these undead creatures roaming the earth. Theres a bunch of curruption, and a mad doctor who begins trying to tame and domesticate a zombie in the movie. Sounds pretty good right?

Thats what i thought before watching. Again, im not too sure what, but it just wasnt all there. I dont know why or how. It seemed to get a little long winded at parts, and just fell flat in my opinion, especially after following dawn of the dead.

The acting is done quite well however, and so is the cinematography. Just the whole script wasnt all there, and thats where this movie fell short for me. The characters just seemed uninteresting and one-dimensional. this is the first time i had seen romero really drop the ball.
