I hadn't even heard of the movie "May" until i was browsing on e-bay one day looking for some horror movies for christmas and stumbled upon it. Out of curiosity i asked for it and got it and was no disappointed.  "May" starring Angela Bettis, Jeremy Sisto and Anna Faris is a pretty decent movie considering it went straight to DVD and doesn't have all of the CGI effects and high profile actors in it. I thought it was a good movie because for one, it wasn't just some mindless serial killer stalking half naked chicks and murdering senselessly, it was more deep rooted then that because in the beginning May was a very shy, well mannered girl who because of being continually disappointed by her encounters and attempts at friendsship with other people, decides to make a friend for herself useing only the "good" parts of the people around her.

I like how it slowly unwinded. It was a nice change from most of the fast paced horror movies where it can sometimes be difficult to follow the plot. The acting was decent, the effects were good and the overall plot was something that on some level i connected with. The whole "meeting people who you think are great and then finding them to be less then satisfactory." My only real complaint about the movie was the ending. I didn't like it simply because it seemed so far fetched. stitched together body parts do not just start moving and it was a little hard for me to wrap my mind around.
