I am legend Review

First off, let me say that I love both "The Omega Man" and "The Last Man On Earth".While neither are perfect,the are great post-apocalyptic movies. I pretty well feel the same about the latest re-make.There has never been a more fully realized PA world than this. New York is absolutely beautiful in it's devastation,with animals running the show and plant-life everywhere. The only problem is the roads. There is end to end traffic normally in New York,so I find it hard to beleive there would be open streets for Neville(Smith) to cruise on.

The only other real problem is with the CG mutants. They look fake,and would have been much more effective with human actors,ala 28 weeks/days later. What a waste of budget money! Overall though, great movie,great atmosphere,great performance by Big Willie, and even better performance from his pet dog! So Sad!!! Hopefully the huge box office returns will mean more PA movies. Do you think Kevin Costner has any extra scripts lying around? Waterworld 2 here we come!!!
