If you like killer clown flicks then you might just wanna check out the 1989 film called Clownhouse which stars a young Sam Rockwell as the only famous actor in it. The film was made with a $200,000 budget and was directed by Victor Salva who helmed Jeepers Creepers and it's sequel.

The film is about 3 brothers who are left alone one night while their parents are away for a few hours and go to a nearby carnival. Well it just so happens that 3 patients at the local insane asylum have escaped and on the loose. The youngest of the brother's has a fear of clowns.

Well the 3 psychos stumble across the carnival and kill the 3 people who were dressed as clowns there and then they dress up as clowns and head to town. On the way the come across the boy's large family house and start to terrorize the youngest one but the older brothers think he's just making it all up til they themselves start being attacked by the killer clowns.

The film is not gory at all and only has a few kills in it which are mainly twisted heads. The acting was so-so by the kids.

There is one thing that I must mention about the director Victor Salva. He was charged with molesting the youngest 12 year old actor who played the little brother in the film. And you can see why sorta when you watch the film cause he focuses alot of the little actor's "behind" in the film and also shows him naked putting his underwear on and also him taking a bath.

Salva is a sicko but this film was okay and I give it a 6 out of 10 rating.
