What took me so long to watch this movie? I have no idea, BUT dang I sure am glad I did.  Tobe Hooper directs another kewl ass movie. Set in an historic LA hotel, that houses evil amongst the "normal" Hollywood group. This movie sets you up for an intense ride (much like a dark ride, OR an excellent haunted attraction). Likeable Nell (played by Angela Bettis, awesome actress) and her uber busy husband move into an actor/actress/Hollywood people setting.

The hotel is being renovated and its very upsetting to Nell..ie construction noise, annoying neighbors, her own emotions from recently losing her father and moving and being married to a very busy doctor on call. Its a beautiful set up for suspense, thrills and death. Something or Someone is killing Nell's female neighbors with different tools. What is the connecting link? Oh I am not going to tell you that is part of the fun. Nell gets busy unraveling the clues and finds herself immersed in the action. Great acting all round and the set design is to die for!!! Gore in all its glory. This is a movie that made me jump, masterful usage of direction.

From the beginning with Sheri Moon Zombie to the ending staring at a.......you will be intrigued and unsettled by this amazing Horror movie. Keep em coming Tobe you do not disippoint!!!
