Bloody Reunion Review

"Bloody Reunion" or "To Sir with love" as it is known internationally is a horror flick from South Korea.

Instead of giving us another long -haired ghost movie , Korea took a stab at the slasher genre.

Ms. Park is an elementary school teacher who has fallen deathly ill. As one of her last wishes she invites her former students ( Now High-school aged) to a secluded beach house for a reunion. Everything seems fine until it is slowly revealed that Ms. Park was not the nicest teacher in the world and some students still hold grudges. One after the other the students are being killed off by a masked killer.

I thought this movie was very refreshing, it was like watching an old Friday the 13th, but from an asian perspective. Another thing that was creative about this movie is that the killer wears a bunny mask, and it's not a cutesy bunny, it's a very grotesque, creepy , and cynical looking mask. I love when people take things that we deem comforting and find the horror in it. I think this is a must watch.
