Land of the Dead Review

I wanted to love this movie. I really did. But you know what, I didnt. This movie was just to much work to try and enjoy, which sucks. I am the biggest George Romero fan going but this movie kicked me in the nuts and just gave me no satisfaction.

The story was a cool concept that felt like it picked up 20mins in and ended 30mins to soon. Although the special FX were what you would expect, and their was a decent amount of action to keep the interest going it could not make up for the very weak story.

I just felt that it needed more development and more character growth. I like being attached to my movies and the characters there-in. This movie didnt do that at all.

So although I am Romero's number 1 fan this movie is a major hit and miss. The one very nicely done bit was the soundtrack and the trailers.. this movie was well hyped and the promotion was impressive!
