Frontiere(s) Review

Haha, look at that...NC-17. I am really glad to see that.
This is one of three French films that really exemplify gore and brutality in films.

There is a very obvious reason as to why these don't get domestic theater releases...they are just THAT...(read more) intense. One thing I noticed is that they all seem to try to build a mini story for the first 30 minutes before getting to the good stuff. I prefer that didn't happen, but when you find something that works...why mess with it?

So anyway, Fontiere(s)...well, first off, when you mix cannibals with neo-nazis, it will be unique. It was more brutal than gory, but that is not to say that it was short in blood. Like I said, it is one of three absolutely brilliant French horror films.
For being a purchase based only on hype, I was happily impressed.
