Hellboy 2: The Golden Army Review

I thought I would be generous and give this movie 5 stars (its not like it doesn't deserve it). Director Guillermo del Toro is becoming reason enough to watch a movie. del Toro, you may remember from Blade 2, Hellboy 1, and everybody's favorite: Pan's Labyrinth. The visuals that this guy puts into his film are beyond comprehension. NOBODY does things like him.

The movie itself was damn good too. Great job on acting on all parts, by all the actors. Comedy in the right spots. Clever dialogue, this movie had it all. And at 2 hours, I'm starting to believe that a quality movie with great action AND story need to be in the 2 hr range...look at Iron Man. HB2 has taken my unbiased ranking of #2 for movies so far this year. My unbiased list is: #1 Iron Man, #2 Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, #3 Cloverfield.(as a horror fan, my list flips Cloverfield and HB2...IM just supercedes all).
