OTIS Review

8 out of 10 Skulls

Otis is your average pizza delivering psychopath who kidnaps young girls in his spare time and forces them to act out surreal high school dating rituals.

When one conquest suddenly flies the coup and returns to her family's welcome arms, they decide that giving the perp over to the inept feds is just being too easy on him...and let the games begin! Let's just say there's some mistaken identity with tragic results which lands the hapless Lawson family into more than they bargained for.

Great black humor served up by some vets: Stern, Douglas and Kevin Pollack as Otis's poor unsuspecting brother. The disturbed son played by Jared Kusnitz was a hoot as well.

A great comedic twist on the whole torture horror genre thingy that's so popular lately.

Illeana Douglas again proves her worth to any project when delivering lines like "he was just about to drink his own toes" with such conviction.
As far as black comedies go I'd give it 3.5 anchovees out of 4
