The Rising Dead Review

STAY AWAY!!! Use your time for something more useful...like counting the number of leaves in your garden! This movie SUCKS! Everything got on my nerves, and I kept on watching it, just so I could see how much worse it could get...and surprisingly it did!! Everything was pathetic and I was really glad when the idiots were getting offed one by one. The hero(?) John Blake with a pretty good opinion of himself (is he related to the Cousin Brothers? Or is he one of them?) was so irritating that I was hoping he'd get chomped in the beginning of the movie...but no such luck.
Some moments were unintentionally hilarious. Like, there's thi scene where the a*#*##* hero SMASHES a door and enters a house where a chick (Ariel) is hiding...she whacks him with a saucepan thinking him to be a zombie (the background music when Ariel realises her mistake is just TOO funny!)...and the jerk Blake after recovering asks the girl to shut the (smashed) door!! Another time, Blake empties his bullets on ONE SINGLE zombie's head!! And he's outta bullets the rest of the movie! The moron keeps telling the people around him that he'll take care of them...and promptly keeps leaving them alone to go looking for zombies!! No wonder each gets knocked off one by one!!
Another priceless moment...there's this kid with a walker cause he's lame or something...this kid gets bitten by a zombie...he asks Blake"How much time I've left?"...Blake says"2-3 hours...don't worry, when the time comes I'll make it quick"...and when the time DOES come and the kid turns into a zombie, Blake whacks him all over the park!! I couldn't stop laughing!!
If you wanna watch this movie, get a few friends who have time to waste and enjoy rolling on the floor with laughter...or grit your teeth with helpless irritation!!
Where could the Brothers have spent money in making the movie, I wonder...the dumb plane crash sequence...the stupid rubber masks...maybe all the actors belonged to the same family and they didn't have to pay the cast!!
