Five Across the Eyes Review

If you are looking for a great horror movie to watch and one you will want to watch over and over again than DO NOT WATCH this movie, but if you are looking for a realistic and disturbing film than this is for you.
The plot goes like this: Five teenage girls are coming home from a football game. They stop at a Gas station to ask directions and accidently hit a parked suv. Instead of stopping they floor it and get the hell out of there, pissing off the wacked out owner of the suv.
The movie itself looks like it is filmed with a cheap hand held video camera, and is filmed mostly inside of a van the whole movie. The acting is terrible and so is the script. The reason I gave this movie 4 stars instead of 1 is because of how realistic it is. The crappy camera actually helps the movie feel more realistic, and it's not to over the top. The movie is not gory but is disturbing because of it's realism, and the things the psycho does to the girls. The best thing about this movie(and the only reason I bought it) is that it mentions horror movies.ca on the case, and I quote "A relentless real time nightmare that led Horror-Movies.ca to hail it as A film that will gnaw at your conscience for days...A remarkable debut feature from a filmmaking team that you'll be bragging about years from now.(From tastesblood review)
IF you have not seen this movie and want to than I suggest you RENT it, and not buy it. If you do decide to watch it do not take it out after the first five minutes, it takes awile before it gets disturbing.
On one of my post I said that it is the best low budget horror film I have ever seen, but after watching the movie again I would have to say that is not true. It's not the best but it is one of the most realistic, and is not that badly done for a filmmaking teams first film with a very low budget.
