Wrong Turn 2 Review

First and foremost, HENRY FRIGGIN ROLLINS!!!!!!! Now, with that out of my system, let's talk detours... For a direct-to-DVD sequel, this is probably the best I've ever seen.  If memory serves me correctly this was the first of many of the past year, and this still is one of the better ones. 

The movie picks up pretty much where the last one left off, with mutants in the woods looking for lost city slickers to cut up and make their playmates.  Warning::If you are in a nice car in the middle of nowhere, you are going to get sliced in half long ways with an axe. 

Now, the reality show has already been explored in movies like Halloween 8, but this one was different.  The reality show went into the filming not knowing about the sex crazed mutant inbreeding lunatics ready to kill.  Luckily for the show, Henry Rollins was on their side. 

The ending is where I kind of got lost knowing that all would be good in the woods, but the good feeling ending just isn't worth it for independent horror movies. 

All in all, this is a good piece of cinematography worth the 20 bucks to purchase it. 

PS: I don't know why she thinks she's better than going back to roots, but Elisha Dushku (spelling?) should have made a cameo as a crazy, ready for revenge.
