Invasion of the Body Snatchers Review

Ok kool fools it is now time for the zombie eater to go old school again. Yep im going all the way back to the year 1978 to talk about a kick ass sci-fi flick called "Invasion of the Body Snatchers". As you must know by now after my reviews on "Dreamcatcher" and the newer "War of the Worlds" that im not only a big ole zombie fan but im also down with the little green guys that want to take over this bitch of a world.

"Invasion of the Body Snatchers" is another remake to a 50s flick but about like the remakes to "The Thing" and "The Blob" "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" is a much better movie then the older one. Unless that is your like a black and white geek that still tries to live like your in the 50s. As for myself i love really good special fx to be in the movies i watch.  And thats just what "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" has to offer. We get a really good story to go along with the special fx and the acting is well played off.

We find a very young Jeff Goldblum playing in this flick many of you will know of him from the other remake they made in the 80s called "The Fly" also playing the main actor is Donald Sutherland many of us should know of him just to name a few flicks he has played in a sci-fi flick called "The Puppet Masters" and "Virus" also he played in that remake to Stephen King's "Salem's Lot". Ok enough about the acting and such. Now on to what what your dead loving hearts must surely be having wet dreams about.

San Francisco was once a nice enough place filled with humans living normal lives. All that is changed when an alien invasion takes place and our world is filled with alien pods that can kill us off and clone our true forms and run our lives. Thats right folks they take over our bodys and turn us into these mindless zombie like beings that walk arould doing work for them. So thats why they are called the body snatchers. 

To make a long story short it is up to just a handful of people to save our world before it is too late. The thing to wonder on is what if San Francisco is not the first place for these aliens to cast there invasion on, how much of our world is left to save. It just might be too late for anyone to save anything. Find out for yourself in this story where no one is whom they seem to be.

Over all i give this movie a 10 cause its a classic. If your new to horror movies or your just looking a kool sci-fi flick to watch you need to check this one out you have Norrock's 100% satisfaction guaranteed.
