THE COTTAGE(2008) Review

Two brothers (Andy Serkis and Reece Shearsmith) kidnap a hoodlum's daughter (Jennifer Ellison) and hide out in a cottage, but all find themselves fighting for their lives from a murderous disfigured farmer.

Wildly uneven British made horror comedy on a low budget, that for two thirds of the way is a comedy and to be fair has it's funny moments and then for the final third turns into a gory horror film reminiscent of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre". Film is a little unnecessacerily foul mouthed at times .Does not ultimately work but is a fair effort.
