Resident Evil Degeneration Review

First off I am a huge fan of the Resident Evil Game series so I was a bit let down after being excited to see this film.  I am also a huge fan of animation, though I tend to prefer old school animation as opposed to CGI...

That all being said, Resident Evil Degeneration was pretty much like watching the cut scenes from the games made into a feature film.  The animation was not as good as I hoped and the voice sinking was real bad, even when you watch the film in its native languge...I am surprised to see so many of you have given it high marks, another reason I rushed out to rent it and give it a whirl.  I felt the film dragged a good bit in the middle and was dissapointed that there were only zombies in it for about the first half hour...on top of that for a R rated  film it was not that violent...the live action films were more violent but lets not talk about those, they are all terrible for the most part...

I gave the film a 5 becasue it is not the most terrible thing I have seen recently but it was a bit of a let down overall...really looking forward to the 5th game in the series though!
