Boogeyman 3 (2008) Review

I have a conflict with movies like this, and it's not that I don't like sequels. They tend to bring something new to the series. But lately there have been too many sequels coming out just because they are sporting a nice name-brand name, and I"m tired of it. I loved the american remake of PULSE, yet we fucked up the two sequels? How? Not by releasing them directly to video with a somewhat unknown cast, though that may have also done it. What happened was you connected the movies which doesn't always work out well, because when one sucks, they both suck. There is no coming back from that (see PULSE &, uh, PULSE) :)

Plot---simply put: what if the boogeyman from the first movie was doing his shit at college!!! Yep, more bloodshed and violence...ok, I made that quick because I can't believe the movie. "The more you believe in him, the stronger he gets". I heard that, I dropped the remote and started cleaning up the house. Gee, just call this movie the next Nightmare on Elm Street!!! Anyways, the daughter of the shrink from the first one is here, which is where the two movies tie in (amongst other mentions of those that died from the second movie). But even so, the 2nd movie was a slasher, real and physical. Now, the doctor believes that there really is a boogeyman, and the patients brought him alive? Ok, everyone, think with me: Jessica Alba...white bikini...on my bed.

• Acting---blah
• Director---come on man!!! You're Gary Jones!!! I loved SPIDERS & CROCODILE 2. What went wrong??? Wait, I found it...
• Writer---Brian Sieve!!! He wrote both of them!!! What were YOU thinking man!!!
• CGI---so much digital used, I don't think there were actual actors or actresses, only creations, similiar to the Matrix...
• Nudity---partial
• Gore---mostly CGI
• Scares---nope

Bottom line---don't mean to make this quick, but this movie really pissed me off.
