My Name Is Bruce Review

A movie for fans of Bruce Campbell, made by Bruce Campbell. Full of the man's trademark wit, charm self-mocking humour. Bruce's is in fall Ash mode here, and it's fun to watch, even if the film falls far short of his classic turn in Army of Darkness.

Just know going in that this isn't some hip satire. It's a straight-up B-flick. This isn't as clever a spoof as Behind the Mask or as edgy as Man Bites Dog. There isn't one bit of insight in the 90 minute running time. Just a whole bunch of broad comedy. If that sounds cool, then "groovy"!

This is a bundle of cheesy B-movie fun, with Bruce at his lovably jerky best. But stay away if you are not a believer.
