Psycho II (1983) Review
Written by: Gardenofstone10
One of the better of the Psycho sequels, Psycho 2 is one to surely mess with your mind.
Plot: Norman Bates, after 20 years of being in prison, is released after being legally declared sane. Some bitches get all pissed off at the judicial system, so they take the law into their own hands.
After trying to drive Norman, these bitches are caught in their own game by the sheriff and the ending has a nice little twist.
The film is obviously made to be on par with the original, which is hard to do. They set up some beautiful camera shots, but they are few and far between so it's not as original as Hitchcock made the first one.
This one, however, is still a great piece of cinema. It has the gore to make horror fans happy, the suspense to make Psycho fans happy and the fresh take on an older movie for the new generation of genre fans. Little bit for everyone.
Bottom line, this movie is pretty cool and should be watched especially if you're a fan of the original Psycho. Peace.
