A Naked Shannon Elizabeth vs. A Killer Snowman, what could possibly be better? Answer= Not much. This was cheesy B-movie fun that made the night a lot of fun to enjoy. Insanely ridiculous but still a lot a fun!

I had been contemplating renting this to check it out, when the good folks at Zone Horror decided to bless me with the movie for free. In truth if I had rented it I wouldn't have been upset with the finished project. Yes the story is as far from life as possibly but therein lies the charm of this movie.

The story begins with Jack Frost a serial killer on his way to his execution when a crash occurs, during the wreck he is genetically mutated. He comes back later as a murdering snowman hell-bent on getting revenge on the sheriff (Sam) who caught him.

This film does take a while to get to the mayhem but it keeps the movie rolling with a cast who actually worked well together and gained interest whilst on the screen. But then the, and excuse me as I am stifling laughter writing this, killer snowman comes onto the scene and all sorts of chaotic fun ensues.

Usually at this point I go on about the actors and how well they did. For this movie it really is not necessary. They all did a bang up job including Christopher Allport as Sheriff Sam. He was and still is a good actor who earns my respect. Fact of the matter remains, this is an absurd but very enjoyable flick and they earn their stars for being able to keep straight faces during the scenes when they were face to face with the Killer Snowman. I could not stop laughing and it is to their merit they kept such straight looks! Awesome!

Surprisingly I was impressed by the special effects. The Snowman ever so slightly but more the blood, the gore. Every aspect in the deaths looked a lot more original than I assumed would be so. It was easy being invested in the gorier moments because of the amount of time put into it. Yes it was cheesy but given that this movie is not meant to be taken seriously it all fitted in very aptly.

Cinematography? LOL, yeah right! I loved the snow ridden grounds but I have stated prior to this that Snow Laden Horror movies are a special love of mine. Some nice subtle references but more often than not it was completely aimed on Jack Frost. Is this a complaint? No! Trust me there is too much cheese to complain about this movie.

I have to hand it to them, there were some original deaths. The bathtub scene will remain infamous, I also would love to know: where the hell did that carrot go?! Being strangled by Christmas lights. The icicle death scene that could be interpreted in a very wrong way. It was always fun and cheek in tongue.

Jokes uttered by anyone in the movie are beyond cheesy and downright bad but in the frame of the movie I couldn't help but laugh, "Blow Me", still cracks me up! Scenes featuring everyone with hairdryers was too funny for words and I almost passed out from laughter. This is truly over-the-top beautiful B-movie paradise!

Scary? No. Stupid? Beyond doubt. Hilarious? Trust me, watch this and you will see for yourself. The ending is quite a satisfactory one for me and although you can see what is going to happen, it really does not detract from the movie. I truly have seen movies with a much bigger budget that were worse than this and not even in good fashion. This is something you cannot take seriously and you need to go into this film with a open mind but for belly laughs, an insane ride and all the cheese on the toast you want, this is pure gold!

I loved every minute and more. This along with Black Christmas will now be a part of my movie tradition in the Christmas season. Get it! It is ridiculously awesome.

Now if you will excuse me I am off to get the sequel. Fun will be had! =)
