Sleepy Hollow Review

Tim Burton has been known for keeping a dark and creepy atmosphere in his movies and this one is no exception. This movie is very dark in its atmosphere and gothic and I love it. The atmosphere is great and this movie is very well done. It has good acting as well.

Sleepy Hollow is about Ichabod Crane, played by Johnny Depp, being sent in to investigate these murders that have been happening, or something like that, where all these people are being decapitated. He learns of the legend of Sleepy Hollow, who was this soldier or something, played by Christopher Walken, who got decapitated in battle and seeks revenge. Anyways after he learns about the legend from the towns people he doesn't believe it until he sees it. When he does he believes and he must uncover the legend to find a way to stop him before he is targeted for death.

This movie stars Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci with a small role from Christopher Walken, so you know right there the acting will be good, and it is. The acting is good and funny. But the thing that made this stand out was the gore, it is spectacular to watch some of this stuff. It is great gore and blood!

This movie is definitely worth checking out, very atmospheric and dark and gory, plus its kind of funny too. I give this n 8/10!!!!
