War of the Worlds (2005) Review

Hello Everyone, well as soon as I heard that WOTW's was being redone,I thought oh no please not again, just leave it alone,the original is perfect.Then I found out Speilberg was doing it and I thought OOOOHHHH,now there's a guy who is going to have read the book and also  has a wonderful talent for telling very great alien stories,AND no one does better speical effects.

MY interest was peaked.I was not crazy about T Cruise as the main character but figured SS knows what he's doing. I have to say this movie far  exceeded my hopes.By the time it was over I had just about cut off the circulation in my own hands and was pretty close to being in the lap of the person next to me,I wanted to go outside and scream out of me the pent up tension.Perfectly told,  perfectly acted,(and cast) Iv'e seen it 4 times and I love it more each time.

Favorite scene? Everyone is at the ferry trying to escape when slowly people turn to see the huge machines appearing up high on a ridge looking down on all that they are about to destroy ,the sense of smallness of the people that this creates is CHILLING! Your best yet Mr. Speilberg.Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou
