Van Helsing Review

It seems nobody must like this flick cause there is not one damn review to be found on this site for "Van Helsing". But hey its all good just leave it to the good ole Zombie Eater to come along and review it. You know how i am i usely hate the horror filcks most other folks like. And i'll turn around and like a flick everybody hates. Thats just the way i am. I say what i think and i can be very rude at times and if you don't like that part of me well fuck off. And what i have to say about "Van Helsing" is that i just happen to like it alot. What in the hell is in this movie that a gore pervert like me would like you might want to know.

There is quite a lot i like about this movie. For one thing is how "Van Helsing" nods its head to old school horror classics such as "Dracula" "The Wolf Man" and my all time fav "Frankenstein". "Van Helsing" brings all those classic monsters back to life for the 2000s. But the movie don't take place in the 2000s thank god its set in the 19th century. So it really does have a old school feel to it. Aspecialy at the beginning when the film starts out black and white. "Van Helsing" is like watching an old classic redone with better Special FX.

More movies should be done like this a change is better sometimes. It is good to see something different come out. Something that is not watered down but still can be good horror fun for all ages. The Acting is played off very good. The only complaint i have dealing with The Acting is the guy that plays as Dracula. He does act a bit cheezy at times he might be a crack head cause he sure acts it. As for the Special FX they are done very good. Alot of the Special FX are cgi but for most of the time they are not over used. The only complaint i have about the cgi is the way the werewolfs looked. You know how i am about cgi werewolfs they seem to stand out worse then other cgi things for some reason. And i must add that the music in "Van Helsing"  is awesome.

Now is the time to nail the story to your dead loveing heart. Van Helsing is a man who lives his life a day at a time never knowing what is comeing next. He is a well known monster slayer. He goes about hunting down any evil forces he comes apound. His everlong quest to kill evil forces brings him to a mysterious land in East Europe. He soon befriends a lovely lady by the name of Anna. And she just happens to be here for the same reason. To hunt and kill Dracula.

But it wont be that easy to take Dracula down. Before they do that they will need the help from a few more. Soon enough Frankenstein joins the group it seems that he has his own scores to settle with Dracula also. But getting to Dracula is not going to be an easy task. In order to get there they will need to battle tons of werewolfs and vampires. Some will live and some will die. Over all i give "Van Helsing" a 9 cause its a neat little horror flick.
