Scream Review

Scream is about a town being terrorized by a masked killer, wearing the now infamous screaming ghost mask (note the name Ghost Face), and Sidney is caught in the middle of it. Sidney is just your average teen but her mother was murdered a few years before and her dad is out of town and she is all by herself. The killer constantly calls her and at times tries to kill her. With people dying around her the town must find a way to find the killer and stop them before its too late. All I can say it, this one will end with a bloody bang....:D

Scream was a very good movie in my opinion and it has some really great dialogue scenes with obvious throwbacks to horror classics. This movie also offers the who done it with tells from many characters and it leaves the audience constantly questioning who the killer is. The movie also does this very well...

The movie isn't really gory or bloody and just has a bunch of stabbings but thats not a problem. The only real problem with this movie is the fact that it spawned a bunch of shitty rip off movies, well and if you've seen the movie alrdy it won't have the same affect on you, or if you've even seen Scary Movie it won't have the same effect. But this movie is great.

Wes Craven directed this movie and there is a line in the beginning taht makes me laugh every time. Drew Barrymore is talking on the phone to someone, who turns out to be the killer, and she says her favorite horror movie is Nightmare on Elm Street but all the rest sucked...which is funny because Wes Craven directed the first movie and none of the rest. There are lines like that or about a bunch of other horror classics scattered around the movie. Most of which are from the great character played by Jamie Kennedy.

THis movie was very good but not perfect, but anymore that in the opening scene gives me a cold chill through my body is great to me. Every time I see that mother crying in the opening scene when she first sees her gutted daughter hanging from the tree gives me a cold feeling and I love that...I give Scream a 9/10!!!!
