Hellraiser Review

I think this is Clive Barker's best movie made. It truly showed what an imagination he has. A world of  nightmares and seductive  images of horrors .  His characters were like nothing ever seen before , they brought whole new brand of horror.  

Cenobites demon to some,  angels to others. All this behind a thin veil of reality.  A world  of pleasure and pain that can be unlocked with a chinese puzzle box.   An obession for a  Frank, sado- masochist  who is looking for the ultimate taboo and sexual experience. He unlocks the box only to be ripped apart  by chains in hooks by the cenobites, demons summoned by the one who solves the box's puzzle . Giving pain  and torture a whole new meaning. . His brother and wife ( also Franks ex-lover and sexually obessed with Frank ) move into the house where Frank was killed .  

After a cut and spilled  blood on th espot where he died , Frank  slowly is brought back to life. bu the needs more blood more bodies and the help of his Mistress , who will do anything for  her lover.   His niece about to become a victim herself , finds the box and unlocks the cenobites , A dealis made and the Cenobites soon come calling again . And want to bring Frank back to their Hell ..
