Gremlins Review
Written by: Googopqp
Fun furry little monsters are mixed with gore in this PG childs horror film from the 80's. The little monsters called Magwhy, spelled wrong :(, have only three rules but when they are broken all hell breaks loose. The Gremlins take over the town and start killing people and its up to the main character and his little friend Gizmo, a gremlin who is calm and good, to stop them.
This movie is A LOT of fun and actually is pretty ballsy. I say this because its a childrens film that flat out says that Santa isn't real...I mean wow, how many kids were scarred from that? Plus this movie is kind of gory at points with the deaths of the gremlins, especially the ending kill....:P
This movie is great fun and also a great christmas movie for the whole family. This movie is directed by Joe Dante, director of The Howling, and produced by Steven Spielberg so of course there are some big budget movie effects.
This movie not only makes one of the most fun childrens horror film but it is also pretty adult with humor and stuff like taht. There is a story and the three rules are memorable.
Rule 1, Keep them out of the sun. Rule 2, Never get them wet. Rule 3, Never feed them after midnight.
The last rule is very flawed and thats why its funny...it doesn't make sense if you think about it but who cares lol. THis movie is too fun to care about the flaws, and it even has a old lady being launched out a window....how can you not like that?
This movie is great and I recommend it to people looking for a fun kick ass movie. I give Gremlins n easy 8/10!!!!
