Jack Brooks Monster Slayer is about a man named well Jack Brooks who is a plumber with very bad anger problems brought on from a childhood memory of his parents and sister being killed in front of him. He feels he should have done something to stop it but he was only 10 or so at the time and really couldn't do anything. He goes to therapy and goes off on people all the time and his girlfriend is seperating from him. He goes to college with a teacher, played by Robert Englund, who has some plumbing problems and asks Jack to help. One day the professor finds a box in his back yard with a heart in it that turns him into a monster and one day causes mayhem in the school. Jack must rise up to the man he was meant to be or become the pussy he once was and stay back. But look at the title, which do you think he does?

This movie is great. ITs fun, somewhat gory, and Jack Brooks is a very fun character. He gets really mad at times and sometimes goes way too far with people, which is just fun to watch lol. He punches people in the face, does a lot of yelling, and doesn't show any signs of getting better, the only thing that helps is killing monsters. And is that a damn fine job or what?

Robert Englund plays a professor and some of the scenes that he's in are just so much fun to watch. He's throwing up on the boards and basically going insane and its just awesome. Robert Englund is just an amazing person and this movie just shows some of his creativity as an actor.

I highly recommend this movie to people who are fans of the genre and everyone will be glad to hear there is NO CGI. Thats right NO CGI what so ever in this movie. Its all puppets and latex and thats just the best way to do it. NO CGI!!! 8/10!!!!
