George A. Romero's classic zombie movie from the 60's is a nightmare to some and greatness to others. To me its an atmospheric look at people boarding up in a house from cannibalistic zombies, thats really good.

This movie is very good, but the fact thats its in black and white only adds to its effect and its atmosphere. I feel black and white is better to shoot in with a very low budget because it makes everything look more realstic and scary, to some not me :P lol, and it gives more feeling to the zombies in a way, instead of making them blue. But I don't feel NOTLD (Night of the Living Dead) is Romero's best, in my opinion.

NOTLD starts off with Barbara and her brother being attacked in a cemetery by a Bill Heinzman zombie and Barbara's brother is killed. And apparently that Bill Heinzman zombie felt there should be a whole movie about just that zombie called Flesh Eater, but thats a different story....Anyways Barbara eventually makes it to a house with others and they board themselves up while the living dead, or zombies, begin to make their slow approach to the front door. Will they survive or will the die? You find out.....

NOTLD I loved especially the ending, now I didn't like the ending because I'm racist lol I liked the ending so much because its just so dark and powerfull and so anti-hollywood ending. I love ending that do stuff like that, like in Drag Me To Hell I loved the ending because it was in your face and anti Hollywood, happy happy gaga, ending.

If you are a zombie movie fan you NEED too see this black and white classic from the 60s now.... And I do mean that, this movie was very good and you need to see it if your a zombie movie fan. You need to see this along with Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead, all three are classics that must be watched. This classic gets a 9/10!!!!! from me :D
