The Exorcist Review

hm...Well know, I get to review one of the most infamous horror classics of all time, The Exorcist. The Exorcist is a prime example of what a horror movie is. The movie is perfect down to almost every level and has traumatized audiences for years, even to this day. The Exorcist is a masterpiece of horror cinema and is beautifully shot and well acted and directed. Although the movie is pretty long and gets boring especially in the beginning that is why I lowered the score.
To be honest I am not a huge fan of this movie but respect it to death and still like the movie. I love all the horrorific images they show and love the history to this movie and hearing stories about it terrorising audiences!
The Exorcist is about a girl who gets possessed by the devil so the family gets her exorcized basically. I can't remember the whole in depth story but the little girl is the main thing about the movie, some may find her very creepy and scary while her head spins all the way around her head, she throws up bile, walks on her hands and legs backwards in the bridge position down a flight of stairs with blood flowing out of the mouth. Its stuff like this that shocks audiences and leaves images in your head taht you won't soon forget. Plus since this movie has to do with religion and the devil many religious people went to see this movie and I heard people fainted in the theaters and all this different shit happened and I can see why. For the time this movie was mind blowing but now its out dated, but still holds some of its original power.
The Exorcist is a true master piece in horror cinema and should be respected by us all, but the movie to me was just too boring in the beginning and just not that intriguing, but I still thoroughly enjoyed this movie either way. I give it a solid 8/10!!!! for being the classic taht it is.
