Land of the Dead Review

Romero's of the dead movies usually have a few things in common, loads of gore and a place to hide, this movie is no different. Land of the Dead takes place during the zombie apocalypse. There are survivors held up in a city that is surrounded by military people and electric fences to keep the zombies out of the city. The people feel safe there and why not? But one day some people steal a very big armored vehicle weapon and threaten to attack the city with it, kind of like terrorists, so some people are sent to get the vehicle back. But will they succeed or will the city be overrun and destroyed?

Land of the Dead was not Romero's best in his zombie movies series but it wasn't bad either. It was a good entry and offers a lot of guts and gore and good scenes of zombies eating people. Plus it has Dario Argento's hot daughter Asia Argento in it kicking ass, wearing black....Just picture taht....

The story of the movie isn't taht bad either, it makes sense and works for the movie. Plus there is a bunch of things that they add in this movie like fireworks to distract the zombies so they can pass by and now the zombies think in this movie, and they apparently learn how to use guns...lol But tahts not really anything bad with that, its kind of funny in ways.

The acting is okay but the CGI sucks in this movie. The CGI gore is pretty terrible but the practical stuff looks awesome. This movie was a good entry from a great horror director and should be viewed if you like his works. I give Land of the Dead a 7/10!!!! Just check it out if you like zombie gore fests :D
