Evil Dead 2 Review

This movie is almost every bit as good as the original, except the effects are much bigger and its a bigger budget movie. But I'm a bigger fan for the original if I had to choose. But this one is still very good and very awesome, Ash is actually more of a bad ass in this one.

Evil Dead 2 is about Ash once again going up to the cabin from the first movie except alone with his girlfriend this time, and once again the evil spirits are let loose and his girlfriend is possessed and he cuts off her head and buries her. Then his hand is taken over by the spirits and the infamous hand chopping scene comes. Meanwhile a women is working her way up to the cottage with others to visit her parents, who are dead and also possessed. When they get there they believe Ash did it, then they find the secret. But what happens next? Do they get out of the cabin alive? or dead? Let me tell ya, its not going to end with just one night, thats for sure. :P IF you have seen it you may get that joke :P....

This movie is very bloody and there is even a warning in the beginning of the movie which is kind of funny. There are some very memorable moments in this movie as well and its great.

This movie uses a lot more slap stick humor than the first one and is more in your face with whats going on, instead of being mostly serious there are jokes all over. That in a way is why I prefer the original I guess, more serious or whatever. Anyways, this movie is still funny tho, and in your face with its jokes and thats alot of fun to watch and you have those what the fuck moments in it where you have no idea whats happening.

I would most definitely recommend this classic to people and fans of the first movie, but chances are you've seen this movie. Its great and needs to be seen by all horror fans, its classic, but don't forget to watch the first one :D. I give Evil Dead 2 a 9/10!!!! It deserves it!
