I rented this movie not expecting too much. I had seen the previews and wasnt to impressed. but far be it from me to turn downa  chance to watch a zombie flick. Directed by Gregg Bishop

I was impressed. Yes, its the typical high school prom night. Geek ( Jared Kusnitz) gets into a arguement with his  girlfriend  . Geek loses girl to jock. The dead awaken, Geek goes to save girl from Jock . there were the nerds, the rockers , the jerk jock, and the juvnielle delinquent and last the survivalist coach . The movie was a parody to all these stereptypes . It just worked. . the delinquent became the hero to the nerds.

fighting off zombies instead of beating them up.   the cheerleader was the heroine who turns out to be the best in shape and able to outrun the zombies and fetch the car they need to escape. The garage band rockers discover that their music puts zombies into a trance. .  The Coach ( Mark Olvier )  uses all his vietnam war skills to good use. The geek beomes the hero. He saves the gilr and The girl saves him  right back..  all this while fighting a town of zombies !!  the laughs were great. the zombie effects were actually pretty good. II can honestly say i was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed this movie.  I even went ahead and purchased this movie to add to my zombie collection.
