Shaun of the Dead (2004) Review

9 out of 10 Skulls

How can I describe this awesome flick?  AWESOME If you don't know the plot of this movie, you officially aren't cool and should go back to watching The Jonas Brothers movies.

What I feel really popped with this movie was the gel between Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.  We have Simon, Shaun...who is over analytical and very observant of the world around him.  Then we have Nick...aka Ed who is very lazy and oblivious to the zombie outbreak of the world.

Where to turn to?  The pub!!!  Alcohol truly solves all the worlds problems and is proven true in this movie.  Alcohol and Playstation.

This movie is a horror movie because, well, obviously it's a comedy but it's done VERY respectably to how George Romero designed zombie flicks that horror fans welcome this movie with open arms.

I am yet to meet someone who doesn't love this movie and believe it's one of the better zombie movies made.  To mock something respectfully is a hard thing to do, and this team of Brits did a great job.  A+ movie!  Peace
