Dawn of the Dead (1978) Review

Guess what this movie is? My favorite horror movie of all time! I have no clue as to why my favorite movie is my 110th or something review, but here it is.
The movie is quite simple to explain. Zombie outbreak leads a group of survivors to a mall that is slowly and surely invaded by zombies. The movie follows their survival and escape. Ending with less survivors than started with, this is the best zombie and best horror movie ever, and here's why:
George A Romero started the zombie craze almost a decade before this movie with Night of the Living Dead. As amazing and original as that movie was, it lacked the core to gore...and that, my friends, is color!
In color, gore is mastered by one soul and that is the genius overlord himself, Tom Savini. With the seemingly floursecent blood and bluish grayish greenish skin, this movie is king.
Before computers could fuck up horror movies, people like Tom Savini were worshipped by many. Let's not forget the mastermind behind this piece of love, George A Romero.
Balls to the walls, this movie holds nothing back. It has some humor, romance, kick-assness and intensity. Who doesn't want to be locked in a supermall with access to everything in it?!?!
This is my favorite movie and I think that if you haven't seen it, you should watch it. You won't be disappointed. Peace.
