I for one would have liked to have known more about the facts and less about what was taken for dramatic license.

For one thing Emily Rose was not her name it was Anneliese. She lived in Germany not the USA and that she was born in 1968. Just a few things that the movie did not even leave a clue about her real live in. It does make me wonder that if these other items were not shown (True facts that they are) what in the movie is fact and what is fiction?

I certainly  have my beliefs. You can not believe in God and not the Devil, nor good without evil. However was it truly good that happened to Anneliese? In the movie Emily Rose certainly lived out hell and didn't take the easy way out when she had the chance. Also the STIGMATA that was claimed that she had, they never mentioned in the movie if the Catholic church considered that a miracle? However, they did consider possession as "Recognized"

Did Anneliese chose this or did Hollywood chose it for her. I am all for protecting a victims family but, if you can look it up on the internet how private can it be? Why 30 years later does this come out, after Pope John Paul just died.

At the end of the movie they suggest that she will be made a Saint someday. I hope with all of my heart that if any one awful affliction, especially if what I saw on that screen was true and actual in 1968 to Anneliese or "Emily Rose" She will become a saint.

Although the biggest stars in the movie were Jennifer Carpenter, and Laura Linney the whole theater was packed and that is something you usually only see when it comes to a Jim Carey, or Julia Roberts movie That impressed me very much.

The bottom line for me, If that many people show up to witness what may change, shake or totally reverse their faith, there should be more truth in it than Hollywood Glamour.
