Tremors Review

I remember this being one of my favoriate movies of young and so i revisited this today via Netflix. Truthfully I do not know if this is horror, comedy, sci-fi or a little bit of all three but ine thing i do know it is one hell of a fun movie!

Tremours is basically a dark comedy monster flick that takes place in a desert somewhere ( probably Arizona or Nevada) where the residents of a small town become hunted down by four  subterranean monsters. This movie stars a few greats we all reconize such as Kevin Bacon , Reba McEntire.

Two of the towns handymen Val and Earl decide to split town in search of a better life only to find the only road out of town is blocked by a land slide. On the way back into town, a tad disgruntled, they run into the town drunk dead and stuck high up on an electric tower. They soon discover phones are not working and some of their neighbors are missing as well as discovering a station wagon mysteriously burried.  Soon enough they encounter the underground monsters and they as well of the town (whats remaining of it) fights to survive.

This movie is a funny monster tale on how a town united defeated the monsters and saved themselves.  It is more of comedy then a scary flick and its something you can watch with your kids and not worry about the content. its a very kid friendly movie.
