Thirty Days of Night Review

Thirty Days of night is basically about a small Alaskan town that goes for a month without sunlight every year. One year on the first day the town is savaged by blood thirsty vampires that is taking advantage of the constant night to feed in a non stop in a frenzy.

There is blood, we have peoples heads being ripped off. Kinda cool i think. These are real bad ass vampires. They barely look human. They are seriously scary and mean business. I am surprised I have not reviewed this movie given its high on my fav's list. I did not expect to like it for it stars Josh Hartnett and I happen to think he is one of the worst actors off all time but I loved the movie and gave it a 9 out of 10.

I rate it so high for it actually scared the crap out of me in the theater and that is hard to do for I am rather numb to horror anymore. I am so tired of the foo-foo whimpy vampires that are all too attractive like we often see in movies. These vampires really do look sinister and evil and they spare no one.
