The Unborn Review
Written by: gothiczen
If it was possible to give a negative number for having been subjected to such a pathetic piece of cinemativ garbage The Unborn would bel without doubt, the movie to win that negative number.
Nothing about this film works - its plot is convoluted without being interesting, characters are so broadly drawn that they become caricatures, and the special effects are not all that special. I cannot recal the last time I wanted to just get up and leave a movie as badly as I wanted to leave this cinematic still born.
The only unrelenting emtion this films manages to cast over its audience is one of boredom. The film, and the majority of its images, are cookie cutter cliches that we have seen done over and over again in faar superior films. The plot has something or other to do with the protagonit's dead twin being possesed by a dybuk so that it can be re-born into our world. Get it - The Unborn? That is the heightth of wit this movie can muster.
The film is a cgi laden, poorly acted, plot light, paper excuse thin, of confused images that all adds up to less than nothing. This movie would not have even deseerved to become a stragiht to video film. The Unborn should have remained UnDone and UnSeen
