Automaton Transfusion Review

Automaton Transfusion is an indie horror film written and directed by Steven C Miller. In the early 1970s, the United States Army was secretly developing away to reanimate the dead to have them fight the wars instead of using the living. When they seemed unable to control the zombies, they had to shut down the experiments.
30 years later the army decided to retry the experiments. They used Grover City for their main testing facilities. But then something goes wrong and the undead escape. They're hungry and use the town as the buffet. When the zombies take over the whole town, a group of teens decide to fight back and find the cure.
Although you can really see this was filmed on the cheap, especially because of the quality of image, they did a really nice job. I honestly felt that the makers of this movie loved horror movies. It had some nice gore, which I was really surprised with. The movie had a good atmosphere, you really felt the anxiety and the stress of the characters.
The acting wasn't that great but it didn't take away anything from the movie. Plus I've seen so much worse acting in other zombie movies. I really liked it and I recommend it for zombie freaks everywhere. Give this a chance and support indie filmmakers.
