What if your new born baby was swapped for a satan child? And you didn't even know, but your partner did...and they were hiding the secret? Well, that's what happens in the Omen. Gregory Peck, To Kill A Mockingbird, stars as Damien's father who knows the secret of the baby swapping. But what he and his wife played by Lee Remick, Anatomy of a Murder, is that this baby is evil...pure evil. Damien grows up with a normal childhood but then strange things begin to happen around him. The nanny hangs herself, animals attack Damien at the zoo, and much more. Even the mother is hurt in the process. But how can you kill a child? And why is all this happening? Well...that will be answered! If you can watch.....

The Omen is a classic horror movie that spawned two movie sequels and one TV movie, and the recent remake of course. Its directed by Richard Donner who did The Goonies and the Lethal Weapon movies. The Movie also has some great actors in it, and the cast therefore is great. Plus this movie doesn't have any blood in it and it works better that way I believe. But there is a kewl decapitation that looks like blood but from what I heard its actually just a bottle of wine that got knocked over and looked like blood. But enough of the fun facts lol.

The Omen is a great movie and genuinely creepy, especially for its time. The idea of your baby being swapped alone is just maddening but the idea of a satan child is worse. Although not able to happen, until you meet me in person XD. This movie is of course far superior to any of the sequels or the remake and still to this day I believe stands the test of time. This movie is great.

Not only did I enjoy the movie but the score to this song was brilliant. And I believe it won an academy award for the score, or was at least nominated. But the reason its a good score is because its so haunting and great and its just voices not even singing words but its great.

Overall you need to see this movie if you havn't already. Its easilly a classic! The Omen will live long and prosper as long as I'm watching it, I will continue to spread it! I give The Omen n 8/10!!!!
