The Dead Zone , filmed in Toronto, based on a Stephen King novel, was one of my favorite movies that came out of the 80’s and I was a big Christopher Walken fan back then. In this movie Christopher Walken plays a character named Johnny Smith who one night suffered a terrible car accident and lost 5 years of his life while in a coma.
Upon awakening he not only finds his girlfriend has moved on but that he has psychic abilities to see into someone past as well as their future. By chance he shakes the hand of a future politician that in the future destroys all mankind. In his desperate attempt to stop the future he destroys his!! This movie has dramatic affects without CGI. You get to feel for the lead character and you feel someone emotionally involved with him.
This film also has a traumatic and disturbing end. You love the movie yet you may hate it a little fo rthe ending is kinda disturbing. its a movie you can watch over and over again and never get bored. i give it a 8 out of 10.
