Scanners Review

Scanners came out back in 1991 and is a film written by David Cronenberg and staring everyones favoriate....Michael Ironside. Scanners is a movie about people with powerful telepathic abilities, so powerful they can not shut out other peoples thoughts so thus they go mad.

the lead character Cameron Vale is one with such abilities and a company called ConSec wants to exploit for their own purposes. Darrel Revok (Micheal ironside) is supposed to be the most powerful of all scanners and is head of ConSec. it turns out he and Cameron are brothers and they want to distribute the drug that made them scanners (that ConSec makes) and rule the world.

What can I say other than I have nothing bad to say about this film at all. What is there not to love? You have cheezy scenes with exploding heads and all. For a film of its time it is quite a masterpiece of horror and very origional. I am rating it 8 out of 10
