Silent Hill Review

Silent Hill is based on a video game of the same name. Although I never played the game you will love this film and you will be able to follow it even if you never knew the game existed.

This movie is about a woman named Rose and her adopted daughter Sharon. Sharo, that talks about Silent Hill in her dreams and who sleepwalks and nearly gets killed early in the film while on one of her episodes she ends up on the edge of a cliff. In a attempt to help her daughter she takes her to the abandoned town of Silent Hill (West Virginia is where it takes place but the story was partly filmed inOntario ) to find answers. On the way she gets unwanted attention from( a over zealous police woman (and beautiful I may add) and she takes off in a high speed chase but unfortunately a chase that causes a serious accident with the two/ Sharon wakes up in another world, with ashes everywhere and her daughter missing. The story is about the search for the missing daughter and in her journey faces unimaginable horrors. When the god aweful siren blows and night falls the town is transformed into a hell full of monsters and demons (or demon like creatures)

The movie is amazingly good. Wonderful special effects that are very believable. The visual effects are of high caliber. This movie is creepy to the bone, unique and seriously scary. I found this movie unsettling but is that not what we all want from a horror movie? This movie will haunt your dreams.
