The Cottage Review

This last weekend I sat down and watched the movie The Cottage for the very 1st time. I dont know why i waited so long to watch this film ! It was tongue in cheek. A story of a kidnapping gone horribly wrong. 2 bumbling kidnappers having the table turned on them by their 'vctim' .A mean,angry, foul mouthed Mafia princess.

Who strangely enough, looks alot like Baby Spice. Fast paced it quickly turns into a parody of a deranged farmer serial killer. ( just imagine Texas Chainsaw Massacre had an offspring with Wrong Turn) . But the gore is aplenty. The scares are there. Holding hands with wit and sarcasm .

I dont know which scene was th best. The 'moth' scene- which had me laughing til i had tears. . Or the shovel decapitation right in the mouth ! I highly recommend it. If you liked Shaun of the Dead you will enjoy this movie !
