Written by: Norrock The Zombie Eater For my 10th horror movie to watch on halloween review i chose Wes Craven's "A Nightmare On Elm Street 3 Dream Warriors". Cause to me it is one of Wes Craven's better films that i allways seem to watch around halloween. Don't get me wrong i like the whole Nightmare series Freddy Krueger is one horror character i will never get tired of. Cause he always has something different up his sleeve. You never know what to expect from this crazy horror retard. He can do about anything in the horror book to give out a good dose of fear. I guess thats why there is so many sequels to the Nightmare On Elm Street movies cause alot of folks love the crazy story lines and the ever wacky Special FX that can only be found in these movies. I've got to hand it to Craven when he created "A Nightmare On Elm Street" he created a story that will just about go on forever and will always be remembered by horror fans of old and new. Ok so now im on to the basics. Im going to start of by saying the Acting is done great. We are treated to some of the same characters from the first two films. And as for the Special FX like i said they are realy wacky. But hey who says wackyness is a bad thing to put in a horror film the Special FX are fun as hell to watch in this movie. BTW there is good gore in this film also in case you did not know lol. As for the music it is about like the music in any other Nightmare film with a little 80s hair metal added in. Now you need to do an earwax exorcism cause im going to tell you what this movie is about. *wait you don't have to read with your ears but hell clean em anyway im sure they need it* All the horror takes place in a psychiatric ward where the last of the Elm Street kids are being held. I guess no one wanted to belive em when it came down to that ole crazy ass Krueger story. So now there stuck in a loony bin. But it will take more then a few shots and a padded cell to keep Freddy away as he slaughters them off one by one like little pigs. The psychiatric wards staff thinks of the murders as suicide but guess again suckers cause Freddy is back and doing what he does best. Over all i give " Dream Warriors " a 10 cause its a flick i allways enjoy to watch around halloween and it might do you the same favor so give it a watch and see. also check out all the other Elm Street films cause if you have never seen them you are missing out on some of Craven's best. Now hush and go back to sleep all is fine till the 9th rolls in. RIP This is a community member review and not a staff member review. We appreciate and respect the opinions of our readers and are gratefull that they took the time to contribute it.
