White Noise Review
Written by: Norrock The Zombie Eater
Hollows eve evolves around many things. By that i mean alot of folks seek different Kinds of horror movies to watch.
Whether it's about Zombies, Vampires , Werewolfs, Witches, or Demons, these days anything goes as long as the flick serves up a decent scare to fill their dead hearts. Some seek nothing more then a chilling ghost story to pass the season with. And thats just what im going to be talking about.
This ever so chilling ghost flick is called "White Noise" and it ranks to be my 9th choice of a film to watch on halloween. Not since "The Eye" or "Poltergeist" have i seen a ghost movie that sends chills down my spine like this one. Not too many ghost flicks or worth a flying fart. Most of em are so boring they would make a dead man cry and a fat bitch jump out a window.
In order to have a ghost flick thats entertaining you need just the right amount of creepyness and a story line that is somewhat believable. And "White Noise" supplies all of those needs. So yeah if a good ghost flick is what your looking to watch for this time of the year look no further then "White Noise".
For the Zombie Eater to say a ghost movie of this type is good there must be something to it cause you know how easy i am to bore. And now im going to touch upon some of the basics of this film and let you know what makes it enjoyable. First of all the acting is well done. Why not? The same creep plays in this movie that also played as Batman and Beetlejuice so you know getting this guy back in a film after such a long time no see has got to be somewhat entertaining. I must say Michael Keaton, unlike most other 80s stars has not aged. Other then around the eyes and the loss of hair hes the same guy with the same good acting skills. Now as for the Special FX they are well done. You hear the ghost more then you see them but thats what makes this movie what it is. And if you are looking an all out blood and gore flick the kind i usely dig then "White Noise" is most deffently not for you.
I must add in there is one cool kill scene that looks very painful that i've never seen done in any other ghost flick before. Now on to what realy makes this movie cook. So put on your glasses you blind bastards cause it is now story time.
Our story evolves around a guy who has just lost his wife to the ever lusting hands of death. He is left with his kid and the dreadful feelings of great loss grief and pain that will haunt him for the rest of his life. Someone comes to him with a message. What the person has to tell him will change his life for ever. He soon learns that his wife is trying to get in touch with him through EVP. She has something very important to tell him but she is not the only dead person on the other side. Im sure each and everyone of em has something to say and before its all over with they might come out to visit.
Over all i give this movie a 10 cause i enjoyed it alot and it is most definately one i plan on watching again around halloween. And if your looking a good ghost flick that will send a chill down your spine and is fun for the whole family. You might want to check this one out. Now to the 8th rolls around its time for you to go back to your coffin. RIP
