Last House On the Left ( remake ) Review

I was very impressed with this movie.. Having seen the original I went into this a bit jaded and was preparing for some yawns.. but boy was I wrong !!  yes they kept true to the storyline but the remake went a few slight different ways that made the movie soooo much better !! ( and really, isnt THAT the best reason to remake a movie ? to make it slightly different ? slightly better ? ) 

The cast was pretty much a bunch of unknowns and it was refreshing not to see some actor/actress  who is a heartthrob on some tv teenage show running around getting killed.

Not wanting to give away too much..lets just say this movie was full of disturbing violence , rape and murder ( but no the most disturbing- I've seen much worse recently )  This movie made you hate the bad guys but also made you want to HURT the bad guys .. A nice spin was placed on this movie that I'm sure many people who have never seen the original will be squirming in their seats about..  I watche dthis movie with someone who had never seen the original and it was great to see their reactions to this movie. they were disgusted. they got angry. They cheered !!

 so go see it already ! what are you waiting for ???
