The Final Destination 3D (2009) Review

Every since that fatefull day that I saw the first Final Destination movie I have always had this weird liking of the films. I found it almost impossible not to like any of these movies, so for that they are guilty pleasures of mine. I think the reason I liked these movies is because ANYTHING can happen, its not a killer with a knife and thats all he uses, or a chainsaw or whatever. These are normal everyday items or whatever and different situations that can kill you and anything can happen. For that I always liked these movies on some level, no matter how bad they are.

Now comes around The Final Destination 3D, now to see the possibility of anything happening...IN 3D!!!! Now thats a pretty big thing! :D. So in some level I was kind of excited to see this movie, and no I wasn't expecting anything more than seeing people die in 3D!

Honestly, this movie was alittle surprising. I thought it was just gunna be another overreacted Final Destination movie where the main character just sits there crying while going around trying to save people.....and guess what....Thats exactly what it is! lol...Right from the start its exactly the same as any other in the series except this time in 3D and in a new situation. And its just plain fun!

This time around death stalks acouple of people who survived a horrific crash at a nascar event. The cars piled up and killed many people, but one person saw it coming and he ran out of the arena after pissing off acouple of people, and then the crash happened. After that....well the survivors began to die in unexpected accidents (but they are really predictable who is gunna die next :/) anyways, the remaining survivors have to find a way to stay alive, or will death find them.....finally?

Now this movies lots of fun, like the other movies, and its really just hows the next person gunna die. But this time they do that but they add in some moments that are ACTUALLY pretty funny, there are some really kewl gags in this movie as well. But that leads me to the biggest dissapointment, the CGI!!!!!!! Now the 3D was actually pretty well done and awesome, but the CGI made it look like your watching 2007's Beowolf on screen once again. Its all cartoony and really bad CGI! But the gore and the kills were pretty damn awesome at times, I really liked acouple! Lets just say.....well you'll see :P

All the deaths in this movie are seen through the eyes of the main character and you know exactly who is going to die next, this sucked....Plus in the trailer they showed EVERY SINGLE KILL in the movie! Now that REALLY sucked, you know who is going to die next and exactly how....that just ruins a movie if you ask me :(

Now the acting is really pretty bad lol, but what do you expect. I wasn't expecting oscar worthy stuff here, its just fun bad acting though, like the people were trying they just weren't that good.

One thing I really liked about this one though was the opening credits, they go through all the people who died in the other films and show them like skeletons dying and that was pretty kewl with the music in that back!

Overall, this is a badly made and stupid fun fest. I would say check it out if you want some fun deaths and stupid movie to see with your buddies. This is a good installment to a guilty pleasure series of mine but it isn't for people who didn't like the other movies. Its just fun, but I did like it better than H2 which came out the same day....The 3D is kewl and the gore is fun, except for the terrible CGI. Overall, I give this crappy little fun movie a 6/10!!!!
