9 out of 10 Skulls

Silence of the Lambs is a scary, creepy and horrific movie that keeps you glued to your seat. It is a fantastic movie. Anthony Hopkins plays Hannibal Lecter a psychologist and cannabalistic murderer that is consulted in a murder case to help catch a murderer nick named Buffalo Bill (Ted Levine) that is a mass murder of women of the plus sized nature. FBI trainee Clarice (Jodie Foster) is the agent assigned to the case.

What follows is a tense psychological thriller that is worthy of the five Oscars it won - film, director, actor, actress, screenplay - and of being a contender for one of the best films of its type. Everything about Silence of the Lambs is just about perfect. Scripting, photography, storyline, characterisations and casting.

Hopkins' Lecter is truly one of the most suave, yet scary, screen creations and he milks it for all it is worth. Under a lesser actor it could almost have become a parody, but instead the master makes the character even more frightening by allowing him to be somehow likeable.  Hopkins and Foster seem to hav e great screen chemistry which surely adds to the film.

I would be suprised if there is anyone that has not seen this film yet but you have not its worth your time. Turn off the phone and devote yourself to the film and you will be in for a treat.
